Happy Monday morning 😘 I’m off on a little trip this week so no more training until Saturday. My body could use a break from the weights as I’ve been at it non stop for weeks now. I’ll be getting plenty of cardio in though! Yesterday I did chest and got up to 100lbs with dumbbells on chest press. That’s probably my limit right now and definitely as heavy as I’ll go without a spotter with me 👍🏻

The best ab exercises to tighten up your tummy! Now that I have your attention I need to deliver some pretty disappointing news. Sorry in advance. It does not matter how many abs exercises you do, if you have too much body fat covering them they will NEVER show. You can do crunches til you die but if you’re not losing fat they’re just not gonna come. So how DO you get abs? NUTRITION! I’m sure you’re familiar with the whole “abs are made in the kitchen” line & as cliche as it sounds it’s TRUE. You have to make sure you are consuming the right calories and macronutrients in order for you to burn fat! These ratios are completely dependent on YOUR body & there is no one size fits all so it takes an approach that is designed and customized to you & you only. For some this may take longer than others. If you have more fat to lose it will take a while but don’t let that discourage you. We all want to achieve this or that but don’t do what’s truly necessary for us to do so. We can follow guidance and advice from others, but most of the time it only works temporarily and it’s short lived. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So what’s the secret to long lasting results? Why is that there is such a huge distinction from those who are great at what they do vs. people who are just average? How is that those that are great at what they do also sustain it long term? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As simple as it sounds, I believe it’s a mentality shift. They have practically rewired and programmed their mind differently in order to reprioritize and sacrifice what’s necessary to achieve success and live their day to day revolving around achieving their goals. They live, breathe, and sh*t their goals basically. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You simply cannot accomplish goals without changing your approach to your thoughts, day to day schedule, and work ethic toward that goal. This all boils down to what you deem important and how you are going to modify what you’re currently doing in order to put you closer to your goal each and every day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes, you can have your work cut out for you and still be unsuccessful. When you adjust your mind, reprioritize, and accept nothing but success, then you will be begin to see the results. It all begins and ends with your mentality. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. 😎

Avistando a segundinha 🥱 Registro de um fim de semana que o plano alimentar foi pro ralo, a tpm e a ansiedade se uniram e acabei consumindo mais doces do que o necessário e tá tudo bem, são circunstâncias momentâneas e que acontecem na vida de todo mundo, mas que muitas vezes ninguém fala e a gente acaba vendo somente a parte perfeita disso tudo, se culpando por não conseguir atingir a mesma perfeição, quando na verdade é algo que não existe! 🤭 O sábado também foi dia da minha primeira avaliação física na academia e essa semana daremos início aos novos treinos. Que nossa semana seja repleta de luz, realizações e que principalmente nossas falhas nunca anulem nossos acertos ✨
