MENTAL TRÄNING + FYSISK TRÄNING = VÄLMÅENDE Med dagens snabba samhälle och alla måsten, kan det vara svårt att hitta en bra balans i och hos sig själv. Vi känner till att med fysisk aktivitet, gärna utomhus, då tömmer man gammal energi och fyller på med ny frisk. En del som man kanske inte reflekterar över och som är minst lika viktig är den mentala träningen. • • I cirka 1 års tid har jag tagit lärdom av hur värdefullt det är med mental träning, allt för att inifrån känna styrka, trygghet och ha och få en balans för att må bra i vardagen. Jag började helt enkelt att VARJE FREDAG, (då ett nytt avsnitt kommer ) lyssna på podden @olssonochwiklund . Där de förre detta elitskidåkarna @j0han0lss0n och @anna_0lsson tillsammans med en av Sveriges bästa mentala coacher, @stigwiklund kommer med tips, tankar och idéer om hur man på ett enkelt sätt kan tänka, agera och utgå från den mentala delen i sin vardag. Precis som med den fysiska träningen behöver man träna på det och det kan vara så enkelt att man tar en kopp kaffe, sätter sig till rätta i soffan, eller där man slappnar av bäst. I love being a yoga teacher. It’s allows me to be creative. To move. To connect to my body and breath. To quiet my mind. I love constructing flows. Learning. Expanding. Saturday’s Salted Caramel & Hazelnut Apple Galette and the Zingy Apple Coleslaw I made a few weeks ago 🍎🍏 I had been planning on making this galette for about a month, but kept putting it off for fear that it might be a bit fiddly (that my pastry would be rubbish ). Thankfully, it turned out pretty great. Plus, I was able to make the components in advance and put it all together when we were ready to eat. Love that in a dish !!! We’ve had so many amazingly tart apples on our tree this year so, it’s been great to experiment with these in different sweet and savoury recipes. The coleslaw was a winner (recipe in my health highlights ), but we also made amazing pork and apple burgers using a @hellofreshuk recipe for guidance (no pic unfortunately ). The biggest success had to be the galette, inspired by the queen of galettes (in my opinion ) @amandafrederickson . Comment below if you’d like my (rough ) recipe...

When I was laid off in December and made my decision to step away from the nonprofit I cofounded, I suddenly had an excessive amount of time on my hands. I felt restless and overwhelmed by the unknown but excited that I would be challenged in ways that felt necessary.⁣ ⁣ ✅ I’ve since launched my personal brand, coached a handful of clients, designed a guided workbook, launched a coaching program, consulted for a respected organization, and had a few other exciting wins.⁣ ⁣ ❎ But in the same time, I’ve also lost my grandpa, witnessed friends lose loved ones, dealt with some *fun* health issues, and plenty more I’d hate to drag y’all into.⁣ ⁣ & so the message here is simple - when you have a vision for where you want life to go, it‘s going to throw you the hardest curve balls. During these times, the only thing you can do is hold on to your faith and stay grounded in your why - why you do what you do, who you do it for, and what legacy you’re trying to leave.⁣ ⁣ I hope y’all can take a moment to recalibrate on why you need to keep going right now. When shit gets tough. When life gives you rotten lemons. When things don’t go as expected. When there’s a sense of hopelessness from a pandemic. Hang on to your why and trust the process. It’ll always get you through. 🙏🏻✨

I wasn’t gonna share this on this account but after seeing some of the powerful shifts that the ladies on the current moon cycle mastery course have made I had to. Who else worries too much about what people think?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've always cared to some degree (who doesn't? ), BUT Instagram has definitely pushed it to a new level.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The pressure is constantly coming and going to have amazing professional photos 24/7, to look a certain way to hop on stories and to always have something life-changing to share.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don't get me wrong...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is nothing wrong with awesome pictures, looking your best, and sharing important things. I'm all about it when I can do it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I don't love is worrying what people will think when roughly 80-95% of the time - a daily photo would look like this: athleisure, no makeup, a hat, and hopping all around the house with my laptop to work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just some random thoughts for today!
